Naked

Spent 37 pounds on this beautiful palette which i bought from Debenhams. Why not Naked 3 Palette you ask? Well, initially i was going to buy Naked 3 but then i went though their reviews on youtube. The you tubers were all giving positive comments and suggesting everyone to try it as they have a new range of vibrant and matte colours however I realised that the you tubers all had white skin. Being asian, my skin is yellow (slightly darker than white) and our skin type is relatively different compared to them. I then searched for an asian who did a review on Naked 3. She claims that Naked One is more suitable for people with yellow skin as compared to Palette 2 and 3. To those who have palette one and two then i suggest you should add 3 to your collection.

Just like palette 2, palette 3 comes with a synthetic dual-ended eyeshadow brush (blending and flat) which is quality and very much usable. It also comes with a sampling of 4 Primer Potions: Original, Eden (nude matte), Sin (shimmer), and Anti-Aging.The packaging is quite similar to Naked 2 which is very sturdy and snaps shut. Inside the case are 12 all brand-new eyeshadows and a well for the shadow brush as well as a large mirror.Overall this is a beautiful rosy palette which swatches wonderfully save for Dust (#2 pale pink with shimmers) due to the high glitter content which flaked a lot, and Trick (#6 glittery copper) which needed a few layers for smooth opacity.

This being such a pink-heavy palette, it is very wearable on very warm skintones but I actually found it to be quite flattering on fairer skin tones. It will be more dynamic and "naked" on someone with blue eyes and pale skin? Possibly, but I would not rule out this looking effortlessly pretty for every skintone as well. The difference is that 50% of this set gives a distinctly pinklook versus calling it a truly naked palette. I actually get tons of requests for everyday pink looks so it just depends on color preference.
