Fright Night

8:56 am

Halloween in London this year was amazing. The weather was well. It started off as a warm day in London reaching 20 deg in the afternoon. Jamal and i casually strolled around Camden Town to find bits and pieces for our halloween costumes. We stumbled upon this really cool rave shop in the midst of Camden market. The shop was filled with weird but cool things and most of the clothing sold were sound wave-friendly or go great under UV lights. Loud music blasting through out the whole shop with amazing dancers dressed in halloweens costumes dancing around in cages at the top corners of the store. The loud music attracted most people to enter the store as it did for us. In the end, Jamal bought himself a sound wave-friendly t-shirt that would light up and move according to the frequency of the music for £55 which was okay.

Afterwards, we wanted to go to the costume shop nearby. When we got there, there was a massive que and we had to wait for approximately30 minutes under the hot sun. The store was full of people! Everyone was going crazy trying to find the right halloween costume. I was just on their website a day before they went and they had a few good items in stock however when we were searching for them, none of the ones we were looking for were available. We spent at least 30 minutes in the store, contemplating on whether or not to buy something or anything since we had qued for so long. Nothing looks attractive, so we left.

The halloween party was held at Scala, which was just a 5 minute walk from King's Cross Station. When Kayleigh, Jamal and I got there, the line was not very long but apparently we had gotten the que jump ticket. The club had two floors, the 1st floor it being electro,EDM, dance etc and the second was R&B and hip hop. If you lots were wondering why we went to a party just the three of us that is because the rest had left without us. We managed to find some of them inside the hip hop room though but we ended up just hanging out in the EDM room. It was somehow more energetic even though the room was completely dead when we entered. After a while, more and more people started filling up the room. Overall, the night was fun and it was a good experience to dress up for halloween.
