Weddings....
Don't you just love weddings? You get to dress up, meet friends and relatives &consume great traditional and sometimes western cuisines.I have always been involved in weddings. I was the flower girl for most of my uncles' weddings. Picture a little girl, curly wurly hair in a puffy dress walking down the isle while carrying a basket full of rose petals. Yup, me. After the wedding, I would usually hide under the tables so that my mother would not be able to find me. When you're 5 and you are having so much fun with your kiddy friends Im sure you would not want to leave the "playing ground" .
I get very emotional during wedding ceremonies... To me, it feels like you have graduated from being a daughter. I cant imagine how my parents would feel when I tell them that I would like to get married. I'm not sure whether the response that I will receive would be good or bad. If you were a parent, how would you feel? In a nutshell, this post is not going to be a sad post... We'll save that for later hehe

left to right: Jamal,Aziq,Afiq
So last night, I was invited to Afiq's brother's and sister's wedding at The Sime Darby Convention Center. And yes, two couples - one ceremony. I got ready and did my hair and Jamal arrived around 6pm. We went back to his house to pick up Aziq and Pak Din sent us to the convention center. Jamal and I wore similar shades of pink while Aziq wore a more light shade of blue. When we arrived at our desired destination, everyone was wearing pink! Apparently pink is one of the theme colours. The other theme colour was Aziq's shade of blue. We definitely blended in very well.
Our outfits
This was our outfit of the night (ootn) Both of us in pink. Jamal is a light shade and me in a darker shade of pink. I brought my favourite vintage Swarovski clutch and matched my outfit with nude patent leather heels from Aldo. Not forgetting my favourite pearl Chanel earings.
In fact, I had a lovely time with Jamal,Aziq and Afiq. Great food, great company and great music. Did I mention that Afiq teared up during his sisters video montage? It was just lovely. I teared up a bit too when I saw the way she looked at her husband. Full of love, joy and happiness.
