A birthday Affair

Jamal and I decided to try something new for his birthday last Friday. Initially, our plans were to try this Michelin starred restaurant called Pétrus which was famous or its french cuisines. Sadly, we weren't able to book a table as the only table available was for 2 at 11 pm. C'mon, who has a 3 course meal at 11pm ....
We managed to book this other Michelin restaurant ; also famous for their French cuisines called Seven Park Place. This lovely quaint restaurant is located in Knightsbridge. Both of us found it nice because we were able to dress up for the occasion without feeling overdressed. Jamal and I both had a three course meal. I was such a memorable and lovely experience as it was both our first time dining at a Michelin Starred Restaurant.
Seared foie gras with confit vegetables, raisin purée and Muscat sauce 
Carpaccio of hand dived scallops with asparagus, lemon and samphire
Assiette of Lune Valley lamb with onions and thyme
reast of Rhug estate chicken with mousseron, broad beans, morels and foie gras
Lychee sorbet with passion fruit and mint
