Goodbye Budapest

---

Hello Prague

Budapest Airport
Our flight was supposed to depart at 7.15pm. Once we collected our bags from the Agency, we quickly held a taxi and made our way to the airport. Being on time and actually having some extra time to eat, relax and walk about, the four of us took our time walking in the airport and buying food and drinks. I started blogging/vlogging, Hilman and Jamal were busy playing foosball while Petra was busy eating. After finishing his little snack, he then joined the rest of the boys at the foosball table. I had mentioned before that the gates were going to close soon but the boys didn't listen. I was just too bothered to nag again so I left it like that. One of the boys noticed on the signboard that our flight was having their "last call". Everyone started freaking out! We ran towards our gate. Out of breath, the four of us made it to the gate by only a few minutes before the gate actually closed.

Prague
We arrived Prague at 9pm and made our way straight to our Airbnb apartment called The James House located not too far from the Old City of Prague. We were supposed to get a three bedroom apartment with a kitchen, two toilets and three separate balconies however we were given a 2 bedroom apartment with one toilet and no kitchen. This wasn't what we paid for. We were quite disappointed that we had to stay in this apartment instead of the apartment we had initially booked in advanced. The concierge had apologised and told us that since it was his mistake, he was going to move us the 3 bedroom apartment the following morning, and we would only need to pay for 2 days instead of 3 days. Since most restaurants were already closed by that time, the boys walked about to find some grub while I took a shower and did my hair. That night, we explored the night life of Prague. I'd say, it was nothing much. The club we went to offered free entry, with five floors playing a wide range of music. Something like Pryzm in Bristol and Zouk in KL. However, the club wasn't up to our expectations. Although it was a big club, the boy-girl ratio was imbalance. There were more boys than girls. That made the club look a little bit like they were hosting a sausage fest. Jamal and I enjoyed ourselves a little (probably cause we have each other) but I guess the others didn't really haha

The next morning, we moved our stuff to the new apartment and got ready to start the day. Since we were ready at 11am, we thought we get brunch and then coffee after.

Once our tummies were filled for the second time. We were able to make our move to the old town. Finally...As we got to the old square, it started to pour heavily. We took cover at one of the tourist restaurants over looking the square. We waiting till the rain settled down. Once it did, we paid for our drinks and explored more. We even got to try their famous pastry that looks a little like a ring bun.

It wasn't that great to begin with to be honest. I felt like it was rather ' okay ' . I guess I wasn't too mesmerised by the taste of the pastry because mine wasn't filled with anything. Some stall do ones filled with ice-cream, whipped cream or even chocolate or custard! I didn't notice until I bought my plain one. I felt really sad afterwards. I felt as if my stomach had no purpose and that eating that plain pastry was a chore...
