Looking back at winter and the pieces Jamal has collected (with my help), I have to say the highlight item was the shearling jacket by Belstaff. It puts forward an image that is unconventional yet familiar, showcasing the luxurious texture of quality shearling from a rugged perspective in the form of a biker jacket, (something expected of the couture house).

     Though it is in black and subtly detailed, it is a prominent piece and some thought is required when putting together an ensemble. Above, the jacket was paired with motto jeans (True Religion), and a khaki sweater (Ralph Lauren), along with a few simple accessories. An outfit that is both versatile and comfortable for a cold winter day out, staying warm whilst maintaining a look of sophistication yet relaxed.
